Winners and losers in President Trump's proposed budget

WASHINGTON -- [HASH]Military spending would get the biggest boost in [HASH]President Trump’s proposed budget. [HASH]EnvironmentalPrograms, medical research, [HASH]Amtrak and an array of international and cultural programs -- from [HASH]Africa to [HASH]Appalachia -- would take big hits, among the many parts of the [HASH]Government he’d put on a crash diet.

The budget proposal out Thursday is a [HASH]WhiteHouse wish list; it’ll be up to [HASH]Congress to decide where money goes. If Trump gets his way, there will be more losers than winners among government departments and programs.
